Marketing for Sawtooth School for Visual Art
Sawtooth School for Visual Art is a non-profit community art school that plays a vibrant role in Winston-Salem and the surrounding region. Sawtooth inspires its students to think imaginatively and creatively.
Generating media interest
Profoundly activated public relations efforts to support the release of each season’s lineup of classes, workshops and events — there are more than 200 such offerings each season! This outreach yielded coverage in targeted media outlets, including in the bimonthly “Top 10” list of arts happenings in the Winston-Salem Journal.
Giving Tuesday Success Story
Profoundly strategized the organization’s first Giving Tuesday campaign and led digital marketing to gain awareness. The result: more than $20k netted for the organization’s first ever major digital fundraising campaign. We believe the key to our success was our focus on telling Sawtooth’s story and how its outreach programs impact our community.
Revamping Sawtooth marketing efforts
Profoundly created a multi-layered, integrated marketing program for Sawtooth in September 2018 to ensure that marketing is proactive (vs. only reactive) and better support studios and the organization as a whole. During the course of the next six months, we saw a marked increase in traction with social media and email marketing efforts.
Profoundly also consulted on fundraising strategy and recommended the Classy online giving platform.
Engagement increase from July – Sept 2018 to Oct – Dec 2018
